How to tell if it's a blockage?

So yesterday & today, my princess Maggie doesn't want to eat. Her tummy is sensitive and she has diarreha. They got over some sort of parasite infection about a week ago so it could be a return of that, but I'm a little concerned. If she is not feeling better when I get home from work I'm going to call the vet and make an appointment. I was going to call today, but she threw up a large hair ball this morning and I'm hoping that was the problem. My little princess also tends to be a bit of a drama queen so it's hard to tell if she is super sick or just being dramatic. Other than the hair ball this morning she has not been throwing up, but all she ate yesterday was about 1.5 oz of wet food. I'm at work trying not to worry to much, my car is in the service shop today so I can't even leave to check on her. Is it possible that she just had a big hair ball? Oh I should add that she did take some hair ball remedy off my finger this morning.

The only way I know of to tell if it's a blockage is an x-ray at the vet's.

Nabu gets very "off" when he has a hairball. Doesn't eat well, sometimes has diarrhea (more likely just a softer poo, not so much full blown diarrhea), and generally doesn't feel well.

I hope she's feeling better when you get home.

I just feel so bad for her because she looks so miserable. I swear the know every time I pay the credit card off. She and Jordan must have had a discussion. He said I"m feeling great and I'm tired of going to the vet so it's your turn to be sick. My poor baby.
