Watching the robins sing!
Well, about a month ago I decided to get a Catit fountain, so my kids would have fresh flowing water at all times. Since then Cosmo is the only one who actually drinks from it. Sophie and Mollie won't go near it and now jump onto the kitchen sink for a drink. Grrrrrrrrr....so over the weekend I had the bright idea that I would unplug the fountain and move it back to where the old water bowl used to be. I figured that Sophie and Mollie would get used to the bowl and then after a while I could plug it back in. Well, that isn't working either. The only one who is enjoying the fountain is Cosmo. This morning I walked into the kitchen to find the fountain "base" in the middle of the kitchen. The top of the fountain that holds the water was about 2 feet away. The pump had been partially pulled out of the water and one section was under the stove. The filter had also been removed from the water and was over by the dishwasher. Cosmo and his silliness never ceases to amaze me. Evidentally, this is now his most expensive cat toy!

I just saw a photo of the fountain and it looks quite sturdy. It's amazing how Cosmo was able to "dismantle" it.

Cosmo is a busy little bee, isn't he?

The cats fortunately do drink from our fountain. Much likes to watch the bubbles and slap at them every once in awhile.

Mojo is enthralled with both the CatIt and the Petmate. She loves when then "glug".
What's absolutely hilarious, though, is if I take the top of the CatIt off and plug it in she slaps the spout of water like it's going to bite her! OMG it's hilarious! Wish we had a video camera...

hey, sign that cat up for pet star - the little top thing screws into the middle part! that's quite a feat for someone w/o opposable thumbs!
