Is this common?

My cat Petunia always runs a temp when we are at the vet. Pepper is always fine. Does anyone else's cat have this issue? The vet I used to take her to treated her with antibiotics the first time I brought her in and she had a temp. Now I am wondering if it is just stress raising her temp.

My vet has said it's possible that a slightly elevated temp could be due to stress. Blood pressure can rise due to stress as well.

I don't think it's a good idea to prescribe antibiotics to a cat whose *only* symptom is a slightly elevated temperature.
