The Judge Sure Saw Through Her (Heather Mills)

Paul McCartney and Heather Mills reached a settlement in court. Thanks to a Judge who saw through her blatant greed she didn't get what she was seeking!

Here is the full Judgment. It's a very interesting read. It lays out the facts that were presented to the Judge and his findings.

Seems Heather Mills is quite the liar.

I was glad to see she didn't get more (she already got too much).

But on the other hand if these old dudes are stupid enough to marry these younger women and honestly believe they love them for themselves and not their money, they deserve to have to pay up. They should start thinking with their brains instead of other body parts IMO.

He can afford it and she does have have a daughter with him.

He should have gotten a Pre-Nuptial Agreement. His daughter Stella tried to get him to have Heather sign a Pre-Nup but he wouldn't do it. I don't feel one bit sorry for him.

Why do women always side with the man? We have no idea what went on in their marriage and what went wrong.

Personally, I feel that he was so heartbroken and distraught over losing his first wife Linda that he was married to for so long that he jumped into his marriage to Heather. He was looking for another Linda, and Heather was not her.

And no, I did NOT read all 58 pages of that judgement.

PLUS, I think judges really, REALLY hate it when people represent themselves.
Tough luck, it is a right.
He should have made her sign a prenup because it's not rocket science to know what she was really after, and personally i think she did very well out of it for just being married for 4 years.

And i think £35,000 a year is more than enough to bring a child up on

She's obviously a bitter, twisted, not to mention STUPID!! woman, especially after throwing water over his lawyer.

Wonder who her next victim will be?!.

It showed she wasn't as clever as one though

But he's (well, was) a Beatle!!!

I wish one of his kids would tell him to stop dying his hair as well
post #8 of 33
Apparently she poured a glass of water over Paul's attorney's head???! I was inclined to believe her for a long time, but wow, why would you do something like that? She sounds nuts.
I saw its statements afterwards,
OMG, how a judge could even give it any money, or even let this thing, keep his kids i have no idea.

and yes i said it, thing, that what you call blood suckers.

I would be surprised if he ever marries again after this.

That woman was just a greedy horrible being...

Yep! She saw a lonely older man who was still mourning the death of his wife and she took advantage of that. She knew who he was and she must have thought that she hit the lottery! She had designs on his money from the very start.

The papers have tore her to shreds again this morning. She can dish it out so i'm quite sure she can take it.

I had someone doing work at my house last night when it was on the news, and i called out "The goldigger what she is!". The chap doing the work said "I thought you women normally take the womans side?!", but i said it's women like her that give the rest of us a bad name!

I saw this one today:

http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2008/...602372668.html

Quote:
Within minutes of telling reporters she was "very very happy" with the outcome - despite it being a fifth of what she'd sought - Mills embarked on a rambling attack on McCartney, accusing him of being a stingy father.

"Beatrice only gets 35,000 a year so obviously she's meant to travel B class while her father travels A class," she said.

Doing nothing to discourage her tabloid image as a gold digger, she went on to attack judge Hugh Bennett's assessment of McCartney's fortune at just $867.5 million.

"Everybody knows he's been worth [$1.73 billion] for the past 15 years," she snapped.
She even boasted about "Baptising" his lawyer in court (she poured a glass of water over top of her head at the end of the Judgment hearing)

While she stood there spouting off her mouth, Paul showed some dignity:

Quote:
By contrast, McCartney, who appeared briefly outside court beside his dedraggled but smiling lawyer, left without comment.

Here is the transcript of what she said outside of court:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2008/mar/17/law.divorce1

She's nuts!
Well, for me it was easy to see this divorce coming...And not just because of the age difference.
I've disliked the woman ever since I saw her interviewed on TV years ago...
She's made herself look a complete and utter fool with the way she's went on. She wasn't happy with the outcome like she said, because she would have kept her dignity and her mouth shut if she had.

I hope like Prince Charles Paul McCartney eventually meets someone who wants him for him and him alone, because that would make her even more bitter and twisted.
I feel sad for both sides; but Paul is a billionaire and anyone with that kind of money would have a pre-nup. Its common sense. I can't understand why he and his lawyers never had a pre-nup before he married her! Doesn't make sense to me.

Paul's kids were right on the mark - at the beginning of the relationship they voiced their opinions to Paul about not liking her and saying she was a golddigger. But Paul didn't listen - he could have saved himself a lot of pain and money had he taken the advice of his kids in the beginning. The kids saw this coming!

Pre-nups weren't really well known in England when they got married, and it still isn't legally binding (i think), although it is taken into account if fair to both parties.

She is nuts! She loves to sell her story to the press, but hates it when they portray her in a bad light.

I think there have been a number of pre-nups that have been contested and invalidated so it's not a sure thing, although it may well have helped the judge rule.
I feel so sorry for Paul! His soul mate Linda passed away and I feel he got caught up with Heather Gold Digger at a very vulnerable time in his life. I think she is a nasty ugly person! A predator!
She may not be the most hated women in the the world, but she certainly is the most despised. The people I've heard mention it are pleased she didn't get more. But sad for his daughter. The witch is very capable of brainwashing their daughter and warping her. I don't see this as over yet.

The lack of a pre-nup is common because some people aren't willing to admit the possibility of being wrong about another person.

Paul has a much better PR team and advisors than the witch. And by finally listening to them, he comes out better off than the witch.

He'll know for next time, if he can trust another woman that is.
I remember thinking when he got married,
that someone shoudl just call him, and tell paul living in sin is a much better idea.
What a money

She's now out to prove that he's worth more than he's saying: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,341750,00.html

On the news tonight she was saying that $48.7 million isn't enough to support her child. Holy jesus! stop using your kid as an excuse.
Keep going Heather, your being hated more and more with every money grabbing tactic you start

I'm sure when their daughter grows up she'll see her mother for what she is
post #27 of 33
I think she needs to take the money she is receiving and not say anything more to anyone.

But I do NOT fee sorry for Paul McCartney. He is a grown man, not some naive little boy.

I agree. As for Paul McCartney, surely at his age he would have been aware of gold-diggers - even if just seeing friends get taken. I don't feel sorry for him either in that sense - you play, you pay. He's paying. But enough is enough. She needs to get a life.

I have to say I DO feel sorry for him. Divorce can be emotionally devastating regardless of your age, finances, or popularity.

It's not the divorce that I don't feel sorry about, it's his stupidity in marrying her in the first place and especially without a pre-nup.
