wife want this phone, she links some phone with better camera.
LG something.

me: yea so?
her:it takes better pics
me: so? you want a to take pics? you have some pro-digital came thing now.
her: but this is smart phone also
me: you have like 5 phones , 3 Pda's, 3 cameras.
her: but those are work cameras(which is true she uses them for photo work). and all dummy phones. not smart phones. plus those wont fit in my bag.
me: then buy small camera.
Her: but this is smart phone, pda, with better camera.
all in one.
me: No
her: your mean
me:Yep i am. now go to bed without your dinner
her:fine if you wont buy me, i will use my own money.
me: Thats why you work sayang, to buy toys

i swear she is more gadget crazy, then any person i know.

sounds like me and my bf and his video game obsession. he thinks he has to have the latest newest game systems, and to me all they are is more noize and a tv hog!

If she could afford it I'm not sure why she would think you would buy it for her. I wouldn't say you were a bad boyfriend/husband (whichever you are).

Not sure what the fuss is about phones anyway, I've had mine for 3 years now and even then I barley use it.

As for console systems I sold my xbox360 and all my games + a widscreen monitor. Put simply there are things worthy more than "gadgets" at this point in time.

Me either. I still have only a land line. I used to have a pager but that was only when I was casual at the hospital and wanted to be notified if there were shifts available for me to work. As soon as I got a regular position, I cancelled the pager.

I've never owned a consol system. I used to play arcade games back in the early 1980's (Ms Pacman and Galaga). I tried both at a friend's house on their Atari or whatever it was and didn't like it. I'd much rather sit at a table and play a board game like Monopoly or Scrabble or Clue, or even real card games like Cribbage.

I can sort of understand the phone obsession, thought I'm not sure what the fuss is over camera phones right now, and why some people seem to need more than one device. Camera phones take crappy pictures. Last time I purchased a phone I had a choice between and BlackBerry with a camera and one without and I picked the one without. I figured, what's the point? I always have my digital camera in my purse anyway and it takes amazing detailed pictures.

I just can't believe she wanted you to buy it for her. I've dropped hints and that about gadgets I want when special occasions come up (anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas, etc.) but i never expect anything but something with a bit of thought. And I'd never ask for something for no reason at all and it not being something I needed. 90% of the expensive luxury items I have are things that I've bought myself. I'd feel like a bit of a spoiled brat otherwise.

would that be the LG Viewty? LG phone's are fantastic! i used to have the LG Chocolate, loved it!

LG phones are nice. I have VX8600, and it has a pretty good camera for a flip phone.

i am starting to hate cell phones anyway, i had 47 missed calls the other night while i was at work, all from my bf's kid brother wanting to know how to fix his stupid ipod. BTW i wouldnt own a ipod shuffle if i had to, those things are junk.
