They are adorable! I love all of them and that little tabby does look like the odd baby out with all those reds.

I took one picture of 2 of them next to the remote control, to get an idea of size... but they didnt want to cooperate with me. They kept cuddling up together...

Oh well, you get the idea. This is #2 & 4...

Does seem like there was a little bit of "tom"foolery when it comes to that kitten, huh?!

NICE litter. If dad was not a red like the kittens, then all the red kittens are boys
And which one will get the PotOGold name? I would pick either the mostly white with red or the red one with the lease amount of white

And the other looks like a brown tabby - if its develops some red patching, it will be a brown patched tabby female. Red sometimes doesn't show right away and may develop in the next few weeks. Keep checking.

From the litter, looks like dad was either a brown or a red tabby

You're right! I just posted in Pennie's thread that I couldnt wait to sex the kittens. If any of the reds are girls then I know the tom was red as well, or if the tabby is a girl, I know the tom was NOT a red. Either way, it doesnt really matter except that I am a huge genetics freak. Most people's eyes glaze over when I start to talk about it, so it's fun to find someone who actually knows about what you're talking about or that cares - lol! As of right now, I think Shenanigans is a brown macheral tabby, dont see any signs of red, but I am definitely keeping my eye out.

Right now only 2 of the kittens have names - #1, the red with the most white, is being called Shamrock, and the tabby is Shenanigans. We've been calling the kittens as a whole "The Pot O' Gold" as we feel like they're all a treasure!

Twix is still being very sweet, she will make it very hard to send back to the shelter. I guess I have 8 weeks to work on hubby. As long as I pace myself... he might not notice one extra cat hanging around

That's always been my mom's strategy! "Oh did I forget to tell you about that one, dear?"

Twix is SO gorgeous... I don't think I would ever be able to give her back! And those kittens are just lovely. Though I agree... where DID that little tabby come from!?

My hubby has allergies to cats, moreso to long-hairs, but they really dont bother him unless he pets them (which he always does) or they lay on his pillow - lol

But hubby is also out of town a lot. hehehehe

No really, he doth protest, but I think it's more of a game than anything. As long as he cant smell them, he doesnt care.

Although, there is a running joke in my house now. My family says I'm going to be the crazy cat lady on the block in my old(er) age!
