That's what Twix started doing - meowing. When I went to her box I noticed what looked like the mucous plug.

Soon after I seen the contractions and now we have amniotic bubble.

As long as I am sitting here she seems fine. Too weird. I joke with my husband that I think these cats think I am some kind of feline midwife!

Good luck!!!! Labor vibes for you!

I'm sitting here with my kitten supply kit, camera, laptop and drink
... we'll see how long I can find time to post.

Pennie is in her box, after a phantom poo. She's having contractions and just lost her plug!! We're in this together!! Cool!

I've read about it, but never seen labor stall in a cat before.

Until today.

I had to leave the room and she followed me to the door and cried untilI came back.

Wasnt until after 7 that she started again.

1st kitten orange with a lot of white (but not van)
2nd kitten appears to be all orange
3rd kitten JUST born, she's still cleaning him/her - another orange and white, but too early to get a good look.

I'll be back.

PS Congrats to Pennie too!

Looks like we need a lot of Paddy Day names after all

I'm on my laptop now, but am taking plenty of pictures, I'll post later tonight when I can get to the computer downstrairs.

Kitten #3 does have white, but not as much as #1.

I think all the "gold" kittens today are a tribute to st Paddy's Day!!!

Momma is doing well and is so content cleaning her little babes right now.

#5 is nursing already but is still attached by mom via the placenta (which is still unbirthed as mom is taking a breather).

Dont quote me... but as #5 dries, I think she might be a tortie.

I think she's done, her last kitten (#5) was born at 10:35. She is so tired. I had to help her with the placenta of the last one as she just tuckered out.

My daughters are transferring pics to the downstairs computer now. I will post pics in a few.
