I want to share with you all that during recent weeks we (the mods and myself) have been trying to take fresh look at the forums (helped by prespectives contributed by some of you memebers). Several changes have been made, some behind the scenes (regarding how we moderate the site) and some that are more visible to you.
The first change was to update the forums rules and post them in a visible place. You can see a link at the top of each page or just click here:
Forum Rules
You may have noticed a new poster called "TCS - Forums Administration". We have implemented this, and other changes in modus operandi, in response to member feedback. TCS - Forums Administration will be used when we wish to emphasize that the decision or message is not a personal decision about a particular member by a particular moderator. It's a decision for the good of the site and is a direct reflection of the rules.
We also felt that with so many new people joining us daily, it might be getting harder for everyone to know all of the moderators on a personal basis and vice versa. One thing that might help is this new page we've set up: Meet The Moderators. There's a link to this page from the forums menu at the top of each page. Let me take this opportunity to thank the moderators once again for all the hard and often ungrateful work they are doing.
Please let me add a very special Thank You to a special lady - Mary Anne aka hissy. Mary Anne is no longer a moderator on our forums, after over two years of dedicated hard work as a mod. Mary Anne is still my business partner both in Meowhoo.com as well as on TCS, where she is also the site's editor, in charge of getting us great articles every month! Thank you Mary Anne!
We are always trying to improve the day-to-day operation of the site, and we do welcome feedback and constructive criticism.
I promise you, as the forums owner and administrator, that your opinions are valued! We are trying our best, but one thing I can also promise you is that we are not ,and never will be, perfect - so please keep that feedback coming in...
One way to send in your feedback is by posting it on the Feedback Forum. You are also welcome to PM or email me or any of the moderators with any feedback or request.
Thank you for making this community into what it is!
