What a difference a day makes!

Hi everyone. Well, I took a little road trip yesterday and picked up some Kitten Attract litter, Cat Attract powder & Feliway comfort zone diffuser.
Squeak has done nothing but use her litter box since we replaced her old litter. Partially our fault after reading these posts, it was a flushable corn type, which I guess was rough on her little paws. We plugged the feliway in and am still waiting to see if it helps big sister "Sissy's" aggression towards her. It's been less than 24 hours, but we believe there's less of it.
Admittedly it's been years since I had a new kitten and I should have been more prepared. Thanks to this website and all of your incredibly wise suggestions things are coming along

Don't worry if the Feliway doesn't seem to work immediately - I think they say allow several weeks to permeate the area, but I think I noticed improvement within a few days.

So glad to hear the litter seems to be working - hope all settles down. I know I was a nervous wreck when I brought my boy into the house. I think my anxiety didn't help anything, but within a few weeks they were sitting next to the window sill together, enjoying the sun. So, have hope and patience, and I'm sending good thoughts along.
