Silly cats...

Nobody has slept in the cat bed at the top of the stairs (which was a favourite a few months ago), but tonight Stumpy has been sleeping there. I heard her MRRRing in annoyance so checked it out, and Lily has kicked her out and taken over the bed

Smudge has been sleeping on some bubble wrap nearby, so Stumpy kicked her off that and is lying on that - it's right near where Lily is, so she can keep an eye on Lily from there.

Poor Smudge who's bottom of the pack is just sitting on boring carpet watching the 2 of them.

Are there any other cats than silly cats?

Solve the problem...put down a piece of paper for Smudge!

That sounds like a good idea. Either that or get three beds. Then they might just play musical beds.

Yes, I think it's time for a third bed so poor Smudgey has somewhere to go We have far more beds/cozy places than cats, but of course they always want the same one.

Yes, I think that three beds would solve the "who's been sleeping in my bed"
problem!

I have 6 cat bed dowstairs for the kits. I find PJ, Punky, & Uncle Dorian all stuffed into one.

I bet if you bought 3 of the exact same bed, they'd still fight over one!

Like I said - none of them have slept in that bed for months! And what Stumpy stole from Smudge was BUBBLE WRAP! They really don't care for cat beds.
