My Paper: Why you should spay and nueter?

Hey!
I'm writing a paper on why you should spay and nueter your pets. I've contacted the head of the Denver Animal Control Shelter and he's agreed to give me an interview.

But.. I'm drawing a blank on questions!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should ask so that I can, you know, not waste his time with typical questions? Thanks!

Is it a kill shelter? You could ask for the number of adoptable pets who are pts due to lack of available homes. I know its not particularly original, but I'm stumped too

How about asking about his views on pediatric speutering, TNR programs, or vets offering "speuter and declaw package deals"?

Good luck on the paper! I wrote a paper on spay/neuter for an English class once. It turned out pretty well I think. It's too bad my professor was not an animal lover though.

well this might be pretty typical, but the first ? that i would ask (even though i kno the answer) is why he thinks animals should be spayed/neutered. im sure u kno the answer to that. another typical one that comes to mind is, what the benefits of s/n are. health problems that can occur to unaltered animals. what he thinks about the over population problems, and how shelters are effected due to this. i cant think of any good ones u can ask but figured i would try to help incase u didnt have these ones in mind

We should spay and neuter until there are no unwanted pets.. That simple to me. All my animals are spayed and neutered. I have six cats and two dogs.. I love them all they are all happy and healthy..
