I've been away for a few months...

so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. My name is Lorie and my furbaby is Snowball who is 16 !/2 years old and who was diagnosed with early kidney disease 6 1/2 years ago. Snowball's condition is stable and his vet is very happy with how well he's doing.

I first joned TCS over 6 years ago, and at first I was here every day and even helped moderate the IMO forum for a while. Then things changed, and I wasn't able to be here as often.

I'm looking forward to meeting the newer members and getting re-aquainted with those who have been here for a while.

Not sure if you have seen, but I adopted two new cats Gigi - a 2 year old tabbico female and Steve - a 9 month old male orange fireball with fur. As you can imagine, they've brought a new dimension to this household.

I'm so glad your baby is doing well!! I lost my Metallica nearly a year ago now. She had CRF and lived 6 months after one of her kidneys failed. She was also 16 1/2 and was with me ever since I was 4 years old.
