Today's date is 3.14 (it's just hit midnight here), otherwise known as Pi Day, so happy Pi Day to all you maths nerds out there

I'm actually going to a Pi Party in the evening! I need to find a good pie recipe to bake tomorrow to take with me... Anyone got any winners?

I think you have to have a PhD in maths to even consider celebrating it

Thank god I didn't have my stats class today. It would have been unbearable with my total geek of a tutor!

Yeah, but my tutor lived in the US for 7 years, studying maths at the University of Arizona.

My daughter's math class celebrated it yesterday, since they don't have math on Friday. We sent in a "pie." We made a sour cream apple pie with streusel topping, and added dried cranberries. It was TOTALLY yummy.
