Dry Skin

I've recently taken in a stray and noticed she has some dandruff (in addition to an overall dirty coat). When we visited the vet earlier this week, he noticed it as well, but didn't give any advice on what to do about it. I want to get her bathed but also don't want to aggravate her skin condition. Any ideas on how to treat this? Thanks!

What are you currently feeding? I would probably give her some time to adjust to eating regularly. If there is still a dandruff problem in a month or two, talk to your vet about whether adding omega-3 fatty acids might help.

She just recently changed from Meow Mix to Nutro Max Cat (last week).
