Green eggs & ham????.......

I know i know!!! Green Beer!!!!
(no cooking required
)

(if you want to make cute candy or casseroles -you should be able to just add a few drops of green food coloring to whatever you're making for a nice shade of green
)

Salad? Cookies with green icing? If you don't like your co-workers boiled cabbage.

from what you said before, that salad you brought to that other party might be green

A favorite when I was in college was green beer - just add some food coloring!

Seriously, though, how about a fresh spinach salad, with a few bacon bits and yogurt dressing on the side? That's easy to throw together. Or celery stalks and or raw broccoli, with some sort of dip? (Maybe sour cream and onion? Buy a tub of sour cream, and add one packet of French Onion soup mix)

If you can make meringue cookies, just add green food color after the meringue is whipped.
Potatoes and the Irish - is this pot luck just nibblers or can you bring green mashed potatoes?

I like the idea of a spinach salad or maybe one of the nice spring mixes (with baby loose leaf lettuces). Very little preparation and hopefully nothing can go wrong - Just make sure to wash the spinach or lettuce, even if the bag says "pre-washed".

Spinach Dip with Crackers, or toasted Pita Bread is Nice.

Here is the recipe

2 500 gr packages of frozen spinach (thawed)
1.5 cup sour Cream
3 Packages Cream Cheese
Salt and Pepper
juice of one lemon
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese.
Put everything in a food processor and blend, you can do it by hand but it takes a little longer..

If you want it really bright green add a couple of drops of green food coloring.
