2. Why would someone hack it in the first place?

I can see it as the plot of a crime novel: the 70 year old billionaire with a heart condition, his beautiful young wife, and the tragic accident that occurs when his pacemaker breaks/he suffers a mysterious fatal heart attack.

Otherwise, i can't really see it having an impact in real life.

Surely poison is easier and cheaper and wouldn't require a whole team of scientists to make work?
