Yes, when the young men & women in a region grow up where 3 out of 5 kids die, when they see the aftermath of war, and have no electricity, clean water or sewer when just the other side of a fence, the oil companies are up and running with all of that - they are NOT afraid to die. And they hate that we are in their country, so they think that if they can attack us on our soil, they have a chance on driving the "Yankee dogs" out of their land.
I don't think that they are after our country, despite what Islamaphobiacs say.....I think that China, to whom the US is so deeply indebted to, has that motive and is gaining that capability. As an old Chinese saying goes, "The cat knocks a jar onto the floor and the dogs get to lap up the milk". So, while we're borrowing money from China to fund our war in Iraq, the Chinese are becoming our largest foreign investor; they already own 80% of the shipping lines that imports our foreign-grown food, which we now need because the real estate developers have developed so much farmland.
