Crazy Kitty!

Okay my cat Gizmo has an unusaly amount of energy tonight.... he's been running around like a mad cat for almost 2 hours, running and jumping everywhere!

He's normally a very mello kitty... well... since I've had him (3 months) he's had an eye infection that we've finally been able to clear up... could this be normal behavior... or sould i be concerned

Seeing that it's a positive and happy cat sort of behavior, I'd say no. It's when a cat is acting fearful/skittish, hiding, or lethargic that one really has to worry.

My Sho is a big lazy boy, but he does have his hyper and odd moods. He's been that way for over 5 years now so I know it's just his normal moods.

Edit - looked at Gizmo's age. He's still a young cat so of course that's normal.

He may just finally be feeling good.

Sound's like classic "10 o'clock crazies" to me!

LOL yeah, I think so. As soon as I went into the bedroom and pulled out the nightly "bedtime treats" he calmed right down.

We've taken to locking them out of the bedroom unless its time for bed and its the only time of day they get treats (We've had some... issues... with Gizmo keeping us up all night!)
