thank you all so much.
comet was a special cat. we got him 6 years ago from the college vet. comet lived there with lots of other animals and was mainly used for the vet tech students to practice on. he was kept in the basement. i know it sounds bad but it wasnt really. they had 2 nice big rooms for their cats. one was for their cages and one room was their playroom. one day he got so depressed that he lost a lot of weight and they just couldnt keep him there anymore. they asked my husband if he would like to take him home. of course he did since he loved comet a lot. the first month comet was at our home he sat in front of the window and just looked outside. that was his favorit thing to do untill the day he died. he was already at least 9 years when we got him and very healthy till the end. he was pure white with just a little grey on his forhead and he had bright blue eyes.
we will miss him so much and just losing inky makes it so much harder.
thanks to all for your kind words, it makes it a little easier to know people care.
thank you
