Catnip Comforter

Yesterday I did the laundry and washed the bedding. Our big comforter for our king size bed was hauled off and washed along with all the rest of the blankets.

Afterwards, I placed it on the bed and suddenly there were 12 kitties in the room, and they were all over it, snuggling and rolling and purring- and I wondered what in the name of the Lord was on this "clean" blanket. I shooed them off, and smelled it and it smelled *herbal* I was quite puzzled, so I flipped it over and there clinging to the back was a catnip pillow! Apparently it was there when I loaded the thing into the washer, and stayed there while it went to the dryer.

Now we have a blanket alive with kitties who refuse to move even an inch!

Although it is a charming scene, I do not recommend that you wash your bedding in catnip!

Oh, MA, I really wish I could have seen that! :LOL: I'm just picturing you presiding over "kitty-woodstock" there and rolling! Lord have mercy, there is no getting bored on this site, is there?

Well, they were so adament about NOT moving off it, that I slept on the couch last night!

We are the crazy cat women... and hissy is our Queen! :egypt:

Talk about instant gratification!! A warm clean blanket smelling like catnip. Ahhhhh.......any cat's dream come true!!
