I think that means you have replied to that thread. I noticed it loads a little slower for me too.
I love the changes, though!

Anne will this upgrading eventually have some sort of alert if PM's are waiting in our box? Other than the lame way they notify us now, by coloring the paw print in at the bottom of the page?
I second that request!! All we need is a pop up box telling us of a new PM.

The forum seems to be loading fine on my end. I've just posted a couple of replies to posts and I'm not experiencing any lag.

Hey MA~

Hate to disillusion you, but that colored paw thing has always been there. Now each post has a colored paw to indicate if the member is online (but only if you aren't 'invisible' in your profile).

I, too, was hoping that the PM pop-up box feature would now work. Somebody send me a PM, and I'll tell you if it does! (Gotta get PMs someway or another.)

Also, the slow loading seems to have gone away for me.

I think the dot on the envelope is if you have replied to the thread. At least it's on the threads I have replied to and not on the ones I haven't. I like that a lot.

Minor thing I noticed...on the bottom where it tells you who all is logged in, the Mods are now in Bold, and Anne is in Bold and Italics. Makes it easier if someone needs to get ahold of a Mod who is there NOW.

Heidi, I see the dotted envelopes only on threads I have replied to also. A few days ago, I noticed someone had asked Anne about the possibility of having these envelopes in the Feedback Forum. Here's a link to the thread. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...threadid=15903

I just noticed another new change. It's in the currently active user's section at the bottom of the general forums page. The names of all the moderators who are currently on-line are now in boldface.

First, I want to mention my computer isn't working really well right now, it keeps locking up, and internet explorer keeps getting jammed or something.

I have a DSL connection. I have been noticing that everything seems a little faster, including when I post replies. I have also noticed that whenever I reply to a thread both my avatar and the picture in my signature take longer to load than they did before. I can't tell if it's my computer that's causing this delay.

I haven't experienced any delay in viewing or posting. I'm connected through a cable modem... maybe I'm just lucky?
