Just wanted to let you all know that the forums software was upgraded today. You may notice some changes here and there - hopefully for the best.

Still working on enhancing some of the features. Hope you enjoy it all!

So far, I noticed two changes, the new spots on the envelopes, and now we can see who else is reading threads in the different forums. I think both of these changes will be helpful!

Yay! I've noticed a few. So far, so good! Looking great!!!!!

I love the alphabet listing added in the members section. It's easy to find someone now!

Didn't think this place could get any better! I stand corrected!

Just one question. Trying to find out if this is just happening to me. When you hit the 'submit' key, does it take longer to submit your post now? ie:smilies, signatures etc.... I'm just finding it very slow all of a sudden.

Thanks for letting me know about the differences
I honestly didn't know what they are

Hey, maybe we can make this into a "spot the difference" contest?

hmmmm... it's not supposed to be. Let's give it a day or two and see if this is something temporary (maybe an overload on the server) or a real problem.

I had the same problems first thing this morning. From the main forums page, access to each individual forum took longer to load. I also experienced a delay when I submitted a post. Let's see how it goes with this one.

Ok...it's not that it's a big problem. Only for those with little patience like me! LOL

I like the spot the difference contest idea!!!

Hey...I just noticed the little paw beside my profile key. Is that new? It says if the person is online or offline at the moment! Love it!!!! First time I notice it so I'm not sure if it was there before......

Maybe this upgrade will make us notice things that have been there all along too!

Ghys, I'm pretty sure the paw is new. I never would have noticed it if you hadn't said anything.:tounge2: That's neat!

Oh, and I'm not having a problem with reply speed. It seems faster, actually.

And if you look on the reply page, we can rate the threads now. Why do we want to rate our always wonderful threads? And where would the rating show up?

I've only noticed the 3 changes the others have mentioned... looks good though!
I especially like the dots on the posts we posted in. :tounge2:

We always had the ability to rate the threads, just not in the place where you post a reply. It shows up on the main page of the particular forum, in that column next to "number of views" (I think). It's blank now, because nobody has rated a thread in a long time.

What I notice and like is if you go to the main page where all the forums are listed- you will see that in the forums that are active at the time, the paw print is colored. The other forums that have not gotten new posts lately have no color to them.

Anne will this upgrading eventually have some sort of alert if PM's are waiting in our box? Other than the lame way they notify us now, by coloring the paw print in at the bottom of the page?
