i get to start a dt. i'm not sure i've ever done this before. well, this is probably cheating...
but it IS sunday now. i just haven't gone to bed yet. it is 12:22 am here. WHAT am i doing up so late? i never stay up this late anymore. if this turns to the silly, i jope you'll still respect me in the morning.

so, i guess the first order of business "today" is to go to sleep.
and when i get up... i will veg probably.

well, would you look at that. i hit 1000.

have a good day, all!

Wow, starting the dt at midnight? You are too funny!!!!!!!!

Well, goodmorning guys and gals. I am up early w/ my kids. Its only 7am here, and this is considered late!! Amazing how kids can be like alarm clocks, no matter what is going on at 6 am they are jumping on my bed. :tounge2:

Its supposed to be spring like here today, and I am all for it. If I see one more snow flake, one more morning at 0 degrees, I think I'll scream. Its like a heat wave at 40 degrees, and when that happens you know its been a tough winter.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Somehow I missed this when I was up last night. I was in Philly all day, so I was catching up till late. I don't why I'm up so early, habit I suppose. Maybe I'll go back to bed.

I have to grade lots of papers, write lesson plans for this week, and read a few chapters for my class. At least I can do it at home in my jammies if I want.

OK, I got another 1 1/2 hours sleep and I've had three cups of coffee.

We're going to Home Depot, today. Bill wants to buy a new tub surround and start the work on Friday. He says no showers, next weekend. Ghys, looks like I'll be taking PTA baths, in the bathroom sink. I have a hunch that Rowdy will be spending a lot of time in the crate, too.

Other than that nothing much here. Have a good one.

Cindy...that's funny! Word of advice. Try looking for a one piece tub surround. Hubby here has been reading instructions on how to install the 5 piece one since last night (7pm)

Can't complain though...all the gyprock is installed. And, I must say, he did impress me. He is doing good work (just a little on the s...l...o...w side) Still no showers here either....lol

*whew* alot of people were up late last night. I went to bed early.....Sorry I missed the fun!

Have a great day! All I have planned is housework and some computer time and chasing the boys etc..... Hubby went out last night around 2:30am. Got called to work. Another snow storm.....Beginning to wonder if this will ever end....

We're looking at a 3-piece surround. Bill is very handy, around the house. The only thing that he hasn't been able to fix, was our furnace but that was covered under our home warranty.

I'll be glad to get rid of that yucky fake tile. Its ugly and hard to keep clean. The new surround has a smooth surface and molded soap dishes and shelves.

Hi everyone-

We have a bad storm approaching and coming in fast. The wind is whipping and the horses are on high alert, so I know they are in tune with this approaching weather. They really make the best weathermen of all.

Whisp was asleep in the hay barn this morning when I went to feed, and once again rewarded me with a purr and a head bump when I said good morning to her. She is much more relaxed outside than she was in captivity.

Anne shared something sad with me this morning. Seems someone broke into the cat shelter over the weekend and took their only generator! Now CWSI has over 500 cats, no lights, no heat, no water, and it will cost them $2,500.00 to replace what was stolen! As if they have that kind of money!
What kind of lowlifes would do this? Terrorism against people who save ferals and strays? Geez!!

Hope all is well with everyone. I need to get crackin on my day now-

Oh...that is upsetting news about the shelter. Reminds me of the Ice storm here. People were stealing generators from everyone.
I don't know....how about getting a job and buying one? Just like the rest of us did??? Those poor kitties.....

Cindy, we saw a few of the 3 piece ones too. I wanted one with lots of built in shelves so now....I must pay the price and wait for him to have time to put it together! He's actually very good at everything too but....I need the patience to wait for the finished job!

Good afternoon everyone. I'm stealing a short break right now from my 'renovating the basement weekend'. Woohoo!! (Rob thinks I'm making lunch! Shhhh!)

It is absolutely freezing here in Southern Ontario. Another cold snap came in and now the high for today is -10C! Ick!

Better go look at some threads before I get kicked off the computer for not making lunch!

Sherral,

That is really nice of you to offer. But it breaks the new rules of the board to solicit funds, even if it happens to be a cat shelter that our fearless leader works with.
But, it was really nice of you to offer the help, and I thank you...
