She is a very pretty Domestic Shorthair. What makes you think Russian Blue? Her body type isn't even right for that breed let alone the color.

Her Mom is part Russian Blue. Oreos Grandma is a Russian Blue and is my Sasha Mom. Oreo didnt get the Russian Blue look at all. I got them both from the same place. It was a 2 Hour drive to get them.

I don't see RB in them except a very little bit in the "style". but the head and muzzle look like a Havana Brown to me - very "corncob" looking

I am looking for a Picture of Oreos Dad. I do not know what he is but his face is weird shaped. There were 4 Kittens in Oreos litter. Two have long fur and the faces are dufferant shaped. I didnt get to see the black kitten because she was already given away.

I don't know if the standard is the same in the US, but over here there is nothing rounded on a Russian their faces are all straight lines and angles. So going by the Russians I know, yours doesn't look like one, sorry

IMO Shadow does not look RB either but as Goldenkitty said maybe she is European Lines. But considering she does not have papers I am guessing she is not RB at all. Shadow is just a domestic shorthair as is Oreo.

Like the others said, being a mix up he is a moggie (domestic shorthair if you want to be courtesy), with not much of russian blue, save the big ears. Compare with the grandmother! (yes, she is of european type, even a good scandinavian type)

However, I want to mention russian blue mix-ups are quite often black, sometimes with some white spot. Probably because the blue-grey color in them is a dilute black. Thus it doesnt need much to reinforce - is my theory.

So I can accept he has some russian background in her.

I did show her to a retired Russian Blue Breeder last week and she agrees Euopean. She told me to get a Russian Blue instead of a Sphinx. I will look at a few differant Breeds.
