If it weren't for my cell phone changing itself I wouldn't have made it to work at 5:45am! Thank goodness for these things!

Then I was supposed to make my SO lunch because I was home for lunch. We were going to have pasta
He walked in the door and I said "what are you doing home early?"

I'm never terribly bothered by the time changes.

My concept of time, sleep schedule - etc is not normal. Yesterday I wasn't feeling well and kept thinking it was 4-5 hours later than it really was.

... this is why I wear a watch.

It was tough getting out of bed this morning. I'm not a morning person, and the "loss" of an hour makes it feel all the worse. I've been sleepy all day.
Also, it truly doesn't matter to me if there's more daylight in the evening hours. So all in all, I'm not a big "spring ahead" fan either!

I honestly don't understand why we have to be the oddball of the world. We won't be matching the rest of the globe for another two weeks until they change their clocks too. Gah, it's bad enough with our oddball measuring system!

I'm glad we agree on that!!! I hate stupid imperial measuring system - metric makes sense!!!!!

Daylight saving doesn't bother me. I slept in a bit today but that was because it took 2 hours to put my new stupid desk together last night which made me go to bed late...

You're lucky your cell phone set itself back...mine didn't (even though I Have it set to automatically do it).

So since I use it as an alarm and that's the ONLY clock I forgot to set back...yep, I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off this morning.

Set back?! You're supposed to "spring forward" and set the clocks ahead by 1 hour.

I think springing ahead this early is going to have the side effect of making the winter seem even longer...Usually by the time we put the clocks ahead the snow is mostly gone, and even a few flowers are starting to push throw...People actually can go out walking after dinner and it is neither to cold or to snowy.

Last time I looked I had at least 5 feet of snow in my back yard...it was -25 here this morning and another major storm is forcast for Thurdays...Certainly not Springing Ahead Material...

It's not very springy here either. The high was around 36...in the sun

Why mess with time? Time is what it is and no matter how we manipulate it, it remains as it is.

I say leave it alone!! We truly gain nothing. And my body clock suffers.

Well at least you set it for the right time! That's all that counts!
