Daily Thread Monday March 10!

Good Morning friends!

Just eatin' some cereal and about to get ready for work.

I have been battling the pain of a darn wisdom tooth coming in and it KILLS! I think I will call my dentist today. Not sure its supposed to hurt this much. It hurts if I move my cheek the wrong way.

My mom delayed her trip because of the weather. Hopefully she gets here today though. If so, I will be heading to my sisters after work today.

Morning!

Boy, isn't it stormy here in the UK! And things are set to worsen over the next 24 hours too.

I am currently sat here watching the tv for news reports and the weather forecast for today, not that it is changing much

I guess today will be one of my 'lazy' days, as the thought of going out in this dreaded weather makes me shiver! I think I shall have 2 curl up on the sofa with a good book...

Not sure if I like this daylight savings or not. It's just after 8am and I am awake. I am never awake before 10am.

The birds are chirping loudly and the cats are staring out the windows.
Looks like a lovely day out.

Morning All!!!!

Well the sun is shining here today but it's -27

. Not looking forward to venturing out for work...

Guess I will have to break down and make a Dr. appointment, my head cold has moved into my ear which keep me up most of the night. Needless to say I am not to perky this morning..Luckily you can usually get in to see the Dr on call at my family clinic the day you call...

So that's about it for my day, work, Dr, then home to nap..

The kitties all have the right idea this morning, they are all in my bed under the comforter napping...Lucky kitties.

I could have a pretty exciting day. Just school, then working out, and then my first day as a teacher. I'm teaching guitar now.

Then supper, homework, play with the kitties, and back to bed until tomorrow morning.

The weather isn't too bad here. Right now it's -5*C (23*F) and we are supposed to get to a high of +3*C (37.4*F). Hopefully, this is the beginning of spring

.

Hopefully we have seen the last of the snow for at least a while. I am so tired of it.

This time change always messes me - I am not sleeping right. Hopefully it won't take long for my system to adjust.

Just another day here, supposed to be up in the 40's, so we'll see, I'm anxious for spring to arrive

Other than that, nothing new, just spent the weekend at my parents & saw my newborn baby cousin for the 2nd time since he was born, he's only 2 weeks old & TINY!

Looking forward to this week going by quickly, anxious for another weekend

Hello!!!!!

A sunny and yet another cold start to the morning. But good news that the temps are finally going to warm up to the mid-upper 30's this week. YAY!!!!!

Sad news is my uncle that I posted about a couple of weeks ago died yesterday morning.
I had gotten and email from my cousin Friday that he had been moved to hospice care.
The news wasn't a real big surprise but still a shock.

Then I realized my cousin sent me her parents wedding photo (both now deceased) so I could scan a copy for a photo album for my parent. So I quick did that this morning and found enough stamps and an envelope to mail it but it doesn't fit in mailbox. Hope to catch the mailman today otherwise I have a gardening class tonite close to post office and I'll drop it off. The funeral arrangements are not made yet and it might be held the day we are leaving to visit my sister so I may miss everything.

Some the cats are showing signs of spring fever and also alot of shedding-I can't seem to keep up!!

Have a stiff lower back today-had last night too I'll use the heating pad today and try to do some stretches.

Not much else on tap for today.

Good morning - you're not the only one with teeth issues!! DH has an infection in one of his wisdom teeth and has had to go to an emergency appointment at the dentists this morning. I'm also having problems with one of mine - the dentist who fixed my teeth up did say that I may have problems with it in the future and so if I did he would pull it then, but not before. My very last wisdom tooth is on the move and it keeps squishing one of my front teeth as well, so both of us have been crawling up the walls and fighting over the painkillers!! Neither of us have slept very well this weekend

The weather here is fantastic - all blue skies and sunshine - now if only either of us had enough get up and go to actually enjoy it!

I wonder how I would know if its infected..it does feel quite swollen and painful..

How did your dh know his was infected?

Today is the day you can expect several people to be an hour late to work!

More then likely it's just the gum that's irritated and inflamed, mine do that sometimes. Try swishing with some salt water, it helps a little and maybe pick up some orajel to help until you can get in with the dentist.

Mine need to come out too... I've been putting it off due to bad reactions to local and fearing that general anesthesia will be even worse.

Luckily, I have a high pain tolerance - so I can't related to anyone saying how painful their's is. DH was miserable from his, though.

Plan for me to day.. it seems I finally stopped itching - must have been a bad combination between the acetaminophen and the midodrine, so I'm going to attempt to get a short nap since I did not sleep last night. Later I need to call a doctor and say "No, I rather not have a follow up visit... I'll just end up getting brushed off to the PA anyway".

Well I did manage to get an appointment right after lunch and it's pretty much what I expected..I have a inner ear infection in my left ear and he said my right was also looking inflamed. So it's antibiotics for the next few days and lots of rest...
I have a meeting at work tomorrow for a couple of hours but after that I am going to play hookey for a day or two..
Just happy that it isn't worse then it is...Certainly nothing like earaches and toothaches to ruin your day

Hopefully we will all be feeling better in a day or two
