I've noticed a recurring theme - lots of snow and people just wishing that Spring would arrive
. For us, it's already on the way, the only problem is that the biggest storm of the winter is due in tonight and due to last until Wednesday. I suspect that the touch of Spring I have to share in these pictures will all be flattened by tomorrow morning.

But....for now.....let's enjoy some beautiful Spring pictures

I fear for the daffodils in the storm force winds that we're supposed to get, but I'm sure the heather and primula will do just fine.

Hope I've been able to bring a touch of Spring if you're still waiting for it to happen where you are

How beautiful! Thank you

I keep seeing spring flowers at the store, but everything is still dead in nature here.

Where do you live that 1) spring has sprung and 2) you're getting a huge storm?

Here we have a few flowers out, snowdrops, daffodils, cyclamen, primula, cowslip and anemone. The hawthorn is just breaking leafbud and the pear tree blossom is swelling nicely.

I live in the UK. Having said that, sitting in the garden taking piccies of birds today, it was freezing. My fingers just about dropped off. The storm that we're getting is coming in from.......guess where......the US
Or at least from the Atlantic somewhere and is due to batter the south and west before it gets to us tomorrow. We have a severe weather warning in force - see here for details

Thank you CarolPetunia, we must have been posting at the same time
The flowers are growing in our front garden, at the end of our driveway we have a willow tree and we planted these plants underneath that. It's lovely now as the tree has such a beautiful, characterful, gnarled trunk.

I'm exactly the same, welcome to the sneezy season
I'm worse with the tree pollen though, particularly when the hawthorn blossoms in May.

Ack! It feels like forever until we see that. We just received 40 cm snow yesterday on top of the snowbanks we already had.

Thanks for a reminder that the end is near.... Wonderful photos.

Here's a few spring/summer flowers that I took from the previous years. Hope you don't mind me sharing....I still need to warm up a bit more.

Share away, the more the merrier (or should that be springier
) - and such beautiful photographs too
Just imagine, poor things are still buried under all that snow - 40 cms yesterday - eeeekkkk!

Maybe if we post enough of them we can clear away all this wintry weather.
