I was so happy to see that my local Petsmart actually carries Da Bird!
Every kitty should have one or more of those!

But...they still don't have any of the refills.
Gosh, they really need to get those in! Good thing we know two of the managers there...I think we'll have to put in a special request.

The local place I was getting it from back in MI had the refills for $2.99...Petsmarts around here are charging $5.99

Same here. I've found that just using a piece of elastic or silk cord works well. The pole is a bit "dinky" anyway.

My cats have 5 of them in the house, all of the sticks are snaped in half and one is really bent because teufel is so strong he pulls it down so it snaps.

ive stopped buying them, now if i see the refill, i will just attach it to a string and hang it in middle of the bed so the cats can play with it all day

I am sure next time i see it i will buy another one

Not sure about how much the refills *would* cost if they carried them. When I bought the original Da Bird in a specialty store in Ohio 2-1/2 years ago, it cost me $8.99. At Petsmart it was $9.99. I didn't think that was too bad of a difference.

I've bought the refills for about 5.99 but haven't seen them at our Petsmart yet.

I did see that the petsmart by me started to carry Cat Attract litter additive - the kind you sprinkle on your regular litter to entice them to it. Dr. Elsey wasn't selling that outside of vet's offices until now.
