Great customer service!

Today, on my way home from a weekend away at the hot pools, we stopped for an ice cream at a tearoom - the young guy (approximately 16-18 years old) serving us was SO friendly, so polite, I was amazed that someone so young working in customer service was so nice - I was really impressed.

Its not often you come across great service, but when you do - it leaves a lasting impression. I hope this young lad does well with his life! All too often, we take salespeople, customer service reps and cafe workers for granted.

Have you been served by someone who left a good impression on you?

That's great -- there's a few nice young people that work at a pet store near me.

Whenever I get great customer service - especially at a restaurant, I usually try to tell the manager (an of course I try to leave a nice tip)

I usually get great service. Maybe that is because I worked as a waitress during college. Great service - bigger tip.

I get the best service from places where we are steady customers.

When I was living in the US, we were regulars of this Mexican restaurant - we used to leave a big tip for the waiters, they were absolutely wonderful. When we told them that I was leaving for NZ, they were there with a hug. I miss those guys!
