question about the points system

I have a question about the points system. I put all my points in the bank, which is what I thought you were supposed to do. I went to donate 350 points to a member and it told me I didn't have enough points to do that. I have 2828 in the bank. Why did it tell me that?!

You need to take them out of the bank to use them.

You need to do a withdrawl from the bank in order to purchase something.

so I have to put them in the bank and then take them out of the bank?!! weird!

I think you earn interest when the points are in the bank. So bank them to earn more points, then withdraw what you need.

Just like your real bank account. The money has to be in it to earn interest, but you have to take it out to spend it. (Well, you did before debit cards...)
