9-14 inches of snow this weekend.
It's MARCH! Why couldn't this snow have come in November?

Also, I won passes to the Cleveland International Film Festival this weekend, so my plans were to sit in a darkened theater and watch movie after movie. If it snows like it says it's going to I'm going to be stuck at home. I may only get to see ONE movie.

we are expecting 30-50 cm of snow (11-20 inches)

I hear the other day that we have gotten over 352 cm already (139 inches or 11.5 feet) this year alone.

I am not looking forward to diging out from this weekend.

Hmmm come to think of it we got it here in November as well...

I agree, although I don't mind winter I have certainly had enough of it now as well...

Take heart though it's only 2 weeks until the first day of spring.

What's that line from the south park movie

The sun is shining

The grass is green

Under the 8 feet of snow I mean

Winter just wants to hang on.

No worries TCSers. I will be complaining just as hard when it's 90 degrees and humid.

Where in heaven do you live? Our Toronto area has had around 180 cm but I heard Northern New Brunswick has had close to 400 cm this winter so far and it's been freezing rain and ice as well as snow so we're not so badly off.

It must be the global warming.

near Ottawa... those are the numbers I heard on the radio. We always get a tonne of snow here in the Ottawa Valley. We are running out of places to put it all.

Oh yeah! And you are getting a lot more tonight and tomorrow. Stock up on good food and wine and settle in for the weekend.

I think if I stepped into the snow on my lawn I would be buried. But then I could hollow out a little snow fort and wait until it all melts.

On the other hand, we are quite excited down here to have one inch of snow on the ground and we will be sorry when the sun melts it all by noon. I just hope we don't miss any of your movie reviews!

We were holding our breath here in the metro Detroit Area. Now they're saying 1-3 inches instead of ten! Whew!

This has been the eighth snowiest winter on record for us. Unfortunatley for our neighbors to the south - you guys are getting the brunt of the bad weather!!!
