I'm looking out my window right now and it's that nasty ice/snow that sticks to everything.

We are expecting rain starting any minute until Sunday morning. I rather have the snow.

I'm going to go get some gas for the generator in case.

My brother and I have a bet weather or not Ottawa or Toronto will call out the military if they get the amount of snow they are calling for. I say they probably will, he says only Toronto will. I wait to see which one of us is right.

You should all come out here to Sourthern California. It's Sunny and in the mid to upper 70's. It's beautiful outside.

The roads aren't really all that bad right now but we're having a bit of a lull before the really heavy stuff hits here in the area. We're supposed to get anywhere between 10-16 inches of snow overnight thru Saturday afternoon. Because of that I'm not going to work. Management gets stupid when it snows. It's bad enough working 7-5am but they'll want to make us stay long after that because they'll be worried that day shift won't come in.

Dinner tonight will be spaghetti and meatballs (made of turkey) and garlic bread.

The blizzard continues.

We now have a level three snow emergency in Cincinnati and Hamilton County. That means that no one is allowed out on the roads unless it's an emergency. You can be ticketed or even arrested by the police. They aren't expecting the primary roads to be cleared before Sunday with the secondary streets taking longer.

It looks like I won't be going anywhere today. The driveway for the apartment building slopes downward to the parking area, there is a fence on one side of it. Some of the blowing snow caused drifts that go halfway up the height of the fence. I'm stuck.

All I can say is better you than me!! And better this weekend than next weekend when we are driving from Wisconsin to Virginia!!

If I was closer I would help snowblow/shovel.
