It's pretty much established in this house that Matilda hates me (well, she hates everyone). I think she has just been so grumpy because of all the feline acne issues she's had, and then the addition of Chloe, and things like that.
Anyway, yesterday I was holding her on my lap and she didn't leave right away. Today she sat on my lap and purred for a few minutes!
I wasn't holding her down, it was all her. (of course, she didn't choose to come up on my lap, but one step at a time).
I'm just so excited that she is sort of warming up to me.
Makes up for the fact that she is shedding everywhere right now because of the warmer weather.
