For the sake of decorum, could we also have Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, and Robert Redford? I love the others; they're a bit young for me, but if you insist!
Oh, Sean Connery could host the party. Some good things get better with age, like wine and Sean.

OK, well if we can bring the quasi-shallow choices in, I'm all about musicians. I would invite Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails, he's pretty, but he's one of the smartest musicians I can think of too), Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue, I just finished their autobiography The Dirt, and he could definitely keep everyone entertained with stories of his life!), and Tommy Lee (also Motley Crue, for sheer aethetics. Dumb as a rock, but I could look at him all day!
)

So how's that for shallow?!?!

Oh, Heidi, that group is going to have a great time talking to my muscians: Beethoven, Verdi, and Puccini.
(They weren't cute, though!)
Well, after all, they wrote music to please the masses, too! Mozart's greatest joy was to make fun of royalty! And Beethoven was considered a complete rebel. Some things don't change.

Oh, I forgot about Bill. I'd have to invite Rusty Wallace, Marty Robbins and Bobby LaBonte, too.

Cindy, I forgot about NASCAR! DUH!

(I'm terrible at this game because I can't ever decide on anyone!)

Add Tony Stewart, Ricky Rudd and Richard Petty to my list (OK, We'll say it's for Earl
)

My shallow answer-Ewan McGregor, Orlando Bloom and my friend Rhonda (first, she'd NEVER forgive me if I didn't. Second, if I get all oogly I can trust her to keep the convo going.)

I would love to have: Oprah Winfrey, David Duchovney, and Robert Jordan (author). That would probably create some neat conversation.
