If you could invite three famous people, alive or dead, to dinner whom would you invite?

I'll choose Socrates, Hitler, and Jesus.

What a conversation that would be!

I love this question!

I'd invite Pat Conroy (my favourite author), Leonardo da Vinci (to talk about engineering, invention and art) and one of the first Europeans to explore Africa, I'm not sure which one, though...

If it was just anyone from history, not just famous people, I'd invite one of my father's ancestors who lived in the later half of the 1800s, since I don't know very much about his family history.

Julie, I had da Vinci typed in and changed it to Socrates, so that they could all talk philosophy! But I think da Vinci is fascinating.

Some of the above are great. I'd add Abraham Lincoln to the dinner party.

Lady Di (I think she could have used a real friend.....) Meg Ryan (love her) and.....hmmmm, Oprah Winfrey (as long as she brings her personal trainer, chef and entourage.....)hehehe. Actually, alone is fine too. I love her. Just imagining that I wouldn't even have to lift a finger after the dinner!

There are alot of good ones here! I'm not sure who I would choose, I have to think about that for a bit! I'd like to say Brad Pitt for one, but compared to most of the ones listed here, that seems a little shallow of me!

Don't worry Debby, I was going to say Jon Bon Jovi (so I'm not far behind you!).

Love that guy (and he's still married to his high school sweetheart after all his fame and glory)!!
