I am at work and can't stop thinking about him....I am sure he will be fine.

He will be getting sent home with pain meds. Does anyone know what they usually use and how it is administered? I forgot to ask this am. Thanks!

Our vet has never given us pain meds to take home, and the boys acted like nothing even happened by the time we got them home. I got to neuter one of our cats myself, at the clinic under supervision of course! I had been interning there for quite some time, so he let me have a go. Ramsay was ready to play again within an hour or 2.

Good to know! He was mad at me this morning, but not because he knew what was coming, but because I did not give him breakfast!

so how's your boy doing? shinobi was in last wednesday for the op and he was given a 48 painkiller. have to say he was absolutely fine and he went back today for his 2nd leukemia jab and the vet said all looks well.

for pan for a speedy recovery.

Just an update: He did great with the surgery....they told me to "keep him quiet" for a few days (HAHA!) as he was trying to levitate himself out of the cat carrier. I never gave him any of the follow up pain meds because he just seemed like he did not need it. He just wanted to lick the ointment off of his deflated boy parts when he got home, and then promptly forgot about the whole thing.

I think that was harder on me than him!
