How long can cats go without water?

I'll be taking a long international flight (I think 20 hours door to door). I will be taking my cats in the cabin with me, I thought of freezing water in a bowl, but there is no place I can hang it in the Sherpa bag. Anyway at the security table they will take the water away from me. Please help!

Thank you..........

This is what i've purchased for the litterbox for the flight

I'm sure you can buy bottled water during the flight if they don't let you bring some with you. If you can't carry a bowl, give the water to your kitties from your hand.

Have a great flight!

They may take it away, but like the op said you can get the water on board the plane no problem

Those litterbox pads look excellent

You could bring an empty bottle and once instead the secure areas, fill it up with the water fountain water. That's what I did when traveling with my cat. I do have to warn you, my cat refused to drink and eat almost everything till we finally reached our destination. The only thing I got him to eat is McDonald's chicken nuggets with the crunchy part taken off.

Airport security will not allow any drinks through security, so you'll have to buy it beyond security or just ask for it on the plane. They still have the 3oz. maximum for any liquid. In my personal experience the flight attendants were very nice and allowed me to take my cat out to stretch a little during the flight. If you can do that it'd be a good time to offer her a drink and maybe a few treats.

Most cats won't eat or drink during travel. I'd get water on the plane if you want. Problem is that you cannot take the cat out of the carrier during flight. So how you would get water to the cat I have no clue. Unless you took everything in the bathroom and thats not a lot of room in there
