Yeah, I "inherited" a puppy!

Got her like a week ago.....she's very cute.

I'm calling her Isabel, changed it from Esa (like see-saw, without the s).

Ironic, though.....I don't like puppies & I don't like little dogs.

Me neither, but little puppy souls sit in classrooms in heaven learning how to give you the LOOK. Only when they have mastered the LOOK are they allowed to be born. Looks like Isabel is very cute. I think of Bichons as a dog for old ladies, they don't need very much exercise or food and aren't at all threatening.
Have fun!

I've never been a big fan of the "foo foo" dogs either, but I had the chance to work with a Bichon several years ago and fell in love. They are soooo smart. I'm not a big fan of all that hair, but that's what scissors are for, LOL.

I'm not a fan of dogs no matter what the size, but she sure is a cute little thing.

Bless your heart, Nat...they all seem to find you don't they?

I actually offered to take this one, & not overly willingly but it was better than the alternative(realistically, I shouldn't have taken her). If you really want to know her story, PM me, I don't want to put it on the public forums.

I'm sorry you got saddled with her, but I know she'll have a great home with you.
How is potty-training her going?

She poops in a corner. Pees on the piddle pad at least. Refuses to go outside, at all!

Maybe you could litterbox train her? I've heard of people doing that with small dogs before....

I suppose you've tried the piddle pads outside? Will she do that? Then you could make the pad smaller and smaller perhaps...

Anyways, I wish you the best of luck with her, she's a real cutie!
