Hi! Just a quick question.

What are the symptoms of over attachment of a cat to his/her human?

LoL Sorry to laugh. When they think your the furmommy instead. Spunky is over attached to my mother. He follows her everywhere!

Benson is attached to DH and I to the point he cries for hours when we leave the house together.

Well, does not wanting to eat out of the bowl but instead out of your hand count as over attachment?

What about waiting for your outside the bathroom while you are taking a shower or doing some other business and refusing to budge until you come out?

Also, yeah, follows you wherever you go, up to the point if you try to hide, she will find you and jump on you?

Sleeping on top of your chest while licking your nose and eyes while you are all tucked in for the night?

Placing herself strategically in front of the computer monitor while you are responding to this thread on thecatsite forum?

Gosh, sounds like normal cat behaviour to me.

Bijou will sit on the table and yowl his meezer yowl at me while I'm trying to cook at the stove or at hubby while he's getting his tea until we talk to him and give him some attention. When I try to use the computer he also will sit right in front of the monitor but then will climb up on my chest and lick my neck while purring furiously.
