...my poor little cat keeps getting his claws caught in my blankets b/c the nails are growing in, but the softpaws won't come off. he likes to bite the blankets and claw it. i put one of the blankets away b/c he would totally get trapped in it. he's my first cat and i made a mistake and got him large softpaws. well, he's only 8 lbs, so small or medium will fit him fine. i figured they'd come off sooner b/c they are too big, but they are stuck. a few of them fell off, but there's four on one paw and two on the other. they've been on for almost seven weeks!!! i was very careful with how much glue i put in the caps, and i think i did it right b/c i didn't get any of it on my fingers and only a little bit got on his fur. the nails seem fine and healthy, and he usually gets himself free when he gets the claws caught, but i've had to wake up at 3am to unhook him. should i just wait a week or two and see if they come off? if i clip them now i'll hit the quick, unless i clip part of the caps off. any suggestions? one thing is true, SOFTPAWS work!!

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

This is the worst litter I have ever tried in my life. The cats don't care, but I do - it stinks to high heaven and doesn't clump at all like it claims.

I'm not experienced yet with softpaws but saw where someone else posted that if you cut the tip of the softpaw off, they will come off faster. Hopefully you can cut the tip of the softpaw without clipping the nail too.

i think she is right, if you clip the end of the softpaw off it allows air into it and the glue will come loose sooner, the website says this will break the adheasive seal.

Cutting the tips off definitely works - we've had to do that a few times with our kitties. The glue is generally only mostly in the tip anyway.
