After I read the Evo thread about the addition of alfalfa to the formula, it was pointed out that Nature's Variety Instinct also has alfalfa, as does Serengeti.

Can anyone tell me a grain free dry without alfalfa?

Is Taste of the Wild a good food?

I just looked at the ingredient list for that. I'm trying to find something a little less expensive than Core or Orijen though.

I've been looking to Taste of the Wild. It's $22-26/15lb bag, compared to the $36-39 I was paying for the Evo. I wonder how the quality of this food is though. It's made by the same company as Diamond, and I've seen that before but never known anyone who fed that either.

Just in case you hadn't noticed,Taste of the Wild isn't as high in protein (42 % vs 50). That might be one reason for the price difference. Just an FYI...
