The one day I work late....

When I got home this evening my husband said that Jassie threw up what looked like poop. I didn't see it, but he said he was pretty sure it was a little solid turd. Everything else id normal, she's never even thrown up before!! Someone, please tell me she didn't eat her own poop and then throw it up!!

Honestly, I've seen some poop colored/shaped/hard (once dried) hairballs. That would be my guess as to what she threw up.

Yup first hairball Kandie ever left me was well poop with hair ... I took it to the vet and got a look ..lol..

Ha!! Don't I feel silly. I've never seen a hairball before. I'll take a hairball over regurgitated poop any day!!! Because she didn't make a hacking noise the hubby remains convinced that it was poop....but i trust you guys

Matilda's hairballs kind of look like poop, they are the same shape. She has white hair though so they are always lighter in color and accompanied with extra stomach juice (ick, can't believe I just typed that).

Don't feel silly, I am sure I started a thread just like this the first time I saw one too - it is somewhat disconcerting if you don't know what it is

A hairball can look exactly like poop.
