As some of you know, I am in school full time and working. On top of that I am trying to move out of state and working on my practicum. The practicum is basically like working another job.As of right now, I am so close to failing out of school it's not even funny. I called off of work sick tonight so that I could get more hw done. Little white lie, but I just am so overwhelmed. Of course, it may get me into some trouble with another call off, but at this point, oh well. I went out to Cincinnati this past weekend to look at a place to live and it was awful so now I am stil looking for a place to live and a job. I am still working on getting my OH endorsement on my RN license and that is a whole 'nother story. This is why I haven't been around here very much lately too. On top of this, Aya is sick and has to go to the vet tomorrow. Ugh! Just had to get this off of my chest.

Why not worry about school now, do your license where you live and work for a few months. Then when you are out of school and settled into a job, then start looking for work in another state and writing your state license there?

I worked full time 8 hour nights while working full time 12 hour days doing my nursing practicum. I was a walking zombie so I know how you feel. But like you I had no choice. You just do what you have to in order to get through. Work knew that my day shift for my practicum started at 7:30am, so I left work at 6:30am. I finished my practicum shift at 7:30pm and went home and slept for 3 hours and went to work nights.

When I was working 12 hour nights for my practicum, it was reversed so that I worked 8 hour days during the day at my job.

I did whatever homework I needed to do on the bus to and from each place and on my breaks.

You'll get through it. Just take something off your plate for the time being....IE: the state move.

I would put off the move, but I can't because my lease here will be up and they are not flexible--AT ALL. So, I guess I am stuck being overwhelmed for now. I might just have to get on here and whine once in a while.
