Its been one year since Tigger was PTS

Hi everyone, Ive not been here for ages (about a year sorry) But I thought id just post a poem I wrote for my cat who was put to sleep a year ago today. He was 16.




Tigger
Words can not describe the sadness i feel inside,
It hurts so bad it makes me cry,
I cant believe a whole year has gone by,
Your never out of my mind,
And I never thought I could love you any more than I already did.

The empty space inside is where you once were.
Even though the space is there,
You left your little paw print on the whole of my heart.

There will never ever be another friendship like we had,
You were my best friend and I'm so glad you were in my life,
Miss you terribly
Thank you for being you.

What a beautiful poem and tribute for Tigger

I have a special guy I lost a little over 3 years ago, and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. They do make little special paw print in the center of your heart! The love never dies.

What a beautiful poem! i am sorry for your loss it is always hard. On match 7 will be 2 mos since Billy Jr was PTS and your poem comes pretty close to what I feel. My heart aches for him, and i think it will ache for the rest of my life. he left an empty spot that no one can fill.

So sorry about Tigger. Time goes by fast. Your Poem is Great. I wrote Poems about Patches,lucy and Stripe when they died.

Hey, thank you for all your nice comments. Yeah he was my first pet and having grown up with him its just like loosing my brother (which he was really!) Ill miss him for the rest of my life.
