Didn't get the job

Well, I called back again and found out that the director had already contacted the hired people she had chosen. Darn, I was looking very much forward to working at the Humane Society too and I had thought I had made a good impression. Gr, back to square one in the job hunt.

Is there an ASPCA unit in your area? Are you really looking to work in the shelter/rescue system, or just work with animals, or what?

If there is any harder job than looking for a job, I don't know what it is.

Just working with animals in general. The humane society was a great place because it was literally down the street from DH's work.
