Please make this explanation as easy as possible.

I want to be able to put multiple links in one post.

I am putting in links by bookmarking the page I want to post. Then I go to reply and get the reply page. I go to bookmark and get the page I want then highlight and copy it using the Edit on the top bar. Then I use the back button to get back to the reply page and use the Edit to paste the link.

When I try to put in multiple links it doesn't work because the first link disappears.

I've actually been submitting and posting one link, clicking edit and adding the next link.

There has to be an easier way. Please tell me what it is.

Thank you.

I think your best bet is to have two tabs open -- the thread you are posting to in one and the source(s) of your links in the other. So you pick up your first link, switch to the thread you want to post it in, paste there. Go back to the other tab, find and pick up your second link, switch back to the thread you want to post in, paste there. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
I hope that is sufficiently straightforward.

i'm just about ready for bed right now, so I'll look for your answer tomorrow.

Okay, this is stupid I guess, but what is a tab? How do I open It?

When I post links I usually have (at least) two windows open. One window has TCS, the other window has the page I'm linking. I have my browser (Firefox) set to open a new window when I click a link.

What internet browser are you using? That would help people understand what is going on. But you should be able to post multiple links without having to go back and edit. I use Firefox browser. It has Tabs so that you can have multiple sites open. I copied my computer screen so you can see what I mean. Don't know if it will help you at all but here goes anyway!

Here I have switched tabs to my photobucket account.

Wow, you don't know what tabs are either? Well, anyway... it's not meant for you to be able to read everything within the picture. It's just an illustration to show what tabs are (that the arrows are pointing to).

the newest version of IE also has tabbing capabilities, like Firefox, Netscape, Safari & Camino do. if you right-click at the top of the browser window, where the name of the page is, it'll usually give you an 'open new tab' choice. alternatively, you can choose to open anything in a new tab by right clicking on the link. i love tabs!
ETA: the file menu also has an 'open new tab' option...
