Where Do You Buy Your Bed Sheets?

We get our sheets from QVC. I especially love thier Northern Nights flannel sheets. They shed quite a bit at first, but stay soft without those hard pills you get with some flannel sheets. IMHO...worth every penny. My Grandmother and Aunt have had some of their sheets for years and years and they still feel great. We've been sleeping on them for about 4 years, but only like 2 on the bed we have now since we went from a full to a queen.

We have some nice non-flannel ones that I'm pretty sure we got at target too.

I was going to suggest Ed's Linens, but having checked the website, I see they are only in the Lower Mainland. You can find some good deals there, though, so if you're on this side of the water any time, you might want to check them out.

Bed Bath and Beyond. The higher the thread count the better!

I got a set of Chocolate brown satin sheets for $12 last week and a comforter for $25. That store is the reason I have sheets for every season!

I was going to suggest that earlier since I noticed some time ago they have decent prices.... then I got sidetracked looking at other stuff and forgot what I was at the site for in the first place. Are the brands they sell decent quality?

Last set DH and I got were from walmart, $50 - I think they're 500 or 600 tc.

i gotten 4 sets of 1000 tc between $90-150 dollars.
each time they where different mfg. i have had to issues with them at all. In fact i swear they got better after each washing. Granted the one set is hmm Ugly, but its still nice to sleep on.

hm i wish i could remember, someone suggsted some 750Tc sheets also from overstock, some times ago, i picked up 2 sets for the guest bed. they have been nice also.

Thats what I love about high thread count - they get better over time, and last forever!

I've gotten all of my sheets from JC Penneys. I like the high thread count, and prefer the Egyptian cotton. They last forever, and just seem to get softer with every washing! Penneys have good sales too!

I love high thread count sheets. I got mine from Bed, Bath and Beyond when they were on sale PLUS I used the 20% off coupon. I got some nice 600 tc sheets for about $50 that way.

If you think regular sheets are a pain, try finding waterbed sheets any more! Everyone used to carry them, and they weren't too expensive. Now, if you can find them, they're going to be $80.

We bought a set of sheets at Trader's Village a few months ago. That's supposedly the country's largest outdoor market. Maybe it is, I don't know. But if you can't find what you're looking for out there, you're just not looking hard enough.

UNfortunately they don't seel online but there is a place called Liquidation world near my house and I can get 600 thread count sheets for around $40.00.
It's one of those places that buys out stock of places going out of business.

I got the flannel sheets from Target, but TJ Maxx has good deals too.
I have also gotten sheets from Lands End catalog and they are very good sheets!!

You do get what you pay for. Many years ago I was given some Yves St-Laurent sheets. They were used daily and washed once per week for 30 years and had faded a little but the softness and quality was still there. Once we went to a queen-size bed they didn't fit any longer but were used in our spare bedroom for more years. Even after 30+ years you could tell they were quality when you touched them and especially when you lay down on them.

Yes, this is the truth! However, there is a workaround available. It's a set of flexible plastic gizmos that you use to anchor regular sheets on a waterbed. I forget what catchy name they were given, but basically they are a flat panel (which goes under the corner of the mattress) attached by long strips to a button device that grips the sheets. Works a treat, and you can use any sheet that fits the bed. I haven't bought waterbed sheets for at least 20 years.

Where did you buy these gizmos?

I got mine at Ed's Linens (link in a previous post), which is a BC outfit, but I can't imagine they wouldn't be available elsewhere. People have to have sheets -- and it's simpler to stock a small item that allows conversion of any sheet in the store, than to try to keep specialized stock for a dwindling market. I'll go in there and see if they still stock them and who makes them, etc.

I usually buy my sheets at kohls, high thread count egyptian cotton and they are lovely!! Just bought a regular set (200 TC ) at Target because I wanted teal sheets and couldn't find them anywhere. Heaven is otherwise known as high TC egyptian cotton sheets
