I am going so crazy right now. Carter has had a skin rash that I didn't find until he licked himself bald on the undersides of his legs. He was in the vet's office Saturday, they gave him a Depo shot and a prescription for Clavamox. But he's still licking his legs and the rashes are looking a lot more raw. I'm really worried about him - I don't know how to get him to leave the rashes alone. Should I get him an E-collar or something?

Anyone? I'm still trying to figure out how to help him.

Awww, the poor baby. I am sending vibes that you will get it figured out

Let us know what the vet says.

WEll I did a little googling and it looks like I might need a little more time for the Depo to kick in. If it looks like that tomorrow though, I'll call back.

I did call the vet about the Clavamox - I wasn't giving it to him right and he threw it up yesterday. I feel really guilty now

Argh, he threw up another Clavamox dose. Am I still not giving it to him right? He's not doing it consistently. Of course I can barely get it in his mouth before he sprays it all over the bathroom
I know he's getting most of it down, I just got used to cleaning up whatever he blocks.

At least his skin is getting better - not nearly as raw as it was yesterday morning. I was so worried about him
