Could someone please explain to me how to Multi-Quote messages? Please explain it to me like you were telling a 5 year old, because I have ADHD, and I have a LOT of trouble understanding things when people explain it like they would to someone who would "Get It" right away. I know there has to be some sort of simple thing that is totally unbeknown to me how to do it, but clicking on the "quotes" thing does NOTHING.

On the post you want to quote, click on the button with the quotes.

The button will change colors and the "+" changes to a "-".

Select as many posts as you want.

Then click on the reply button. (But not the quick reply) You should see all of the posts where you clicked on the '' button.

Sometimes, if you selected a post for quoting, but didn't reply to the thread, you will see the following in a different thread.

You can quote it in the current thread or deselect the quoted post.

No. It didn't work. How do I get the "quotes" on my new message? There has to be a trick. Do I have to set my USER CP up a special way for it to work?

When I did what you said, I got all of the messages I wanted to quote in a regular box above the message field, but not within the message field. What is the trick?

I just tried it again, and NOTHING. I tried it on this thread. How do I have to have my User CP set, for it to work?

No, you shouldn't have to set your User CP to anything special?
I followed Jana's instructions & it worked okay for me?

I think I've finally got it. I have been clicking on the Quick Reply button.

I know how confusing it is! What I do is click the multi quote button on each post I want to quote and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the red (plus mark) reply button, instead of the quick reply button. I can't get it to work either if I hit the quick reply! Then, all of the posts that I quoted are in the message box.

Thanks for that feedback, Hope. I've added it to my original instructions in case anyone comes across this in the future.

A few people have posted lately that they do not know how to multi quote. I'm bumping this thread back up. Please feel free to experiment in this thread.

Also if you have a slow connection make sure your page if fully loaded before you start to multi quote and make sure they've lit up red

It's so handy!
