Hi everyone, my name is Darryl.
I was dating a girl that I was working with who was a cat lover.
I grew up with with cats and never really paid attention to them.
Another person I worked with thought it was a good idea to bring me in a cat.
She was gray, she looked like a squirrel or even a rat, I never thought a cat could be this ugly.
turns out she was a Siamese lynx point.
at first we were oil and water, boy did I hate her with her hair, etc..
I used to lock her in my closet at night and curse her when she meowed.
her name is Jordan.
she is 10 years old and I love her more than words can express.
since then I picked up 2 strays - one that was being handed out of a box.
She is Miss Jinx and I call her that because she almost died when she was getting spayed - she is a Siamese torte point - she is 8.
next was sub-zero who got that name because of his terrible behavior, I found him in a hole in the ground - he is 3 years and behaves almost perfectly now.
I could write a book about my cats, so I will leave it at this.
and I look forward to being a part of this community.
